IT Project Manager
The Change Partners are working with a leading travel organisation to hire an IT Project Manager to support the continued development and integration of a new travel booking platform.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating the integration of the platform across internal systems, the website, suppliers and external partners, ensuring the end-to-end booking journey works effectively.
This is a 7-month contract role, with a likelihood to extend, offering a competitive day rate outside IR35.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and integration of a new Tour Operator / package booking information system
- Manage the integration of the platform with the existing website and front-end customer booking journey
- Coordinate connectivity with suppliers, online tour operators, aggregators, wholesalers, channel managers and marketplaces
- Oversee integration of the packaging engine and distribution platform
- Coordinate back-end integrations for payments, billing, invoicing and accounting
- Ensure reliable data flows across the different systems and platforms
- Manage the project roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and delivery quality
- Coordinate integration, end-to-end and UAT testing, defect resolution and go-live
- Work across internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external technology providers

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience delivering IT projects involving booking, e-commerce, digital or distribution platforms
- Strong hands-on project experience with system integration, APIs and web platforms
- Experience integrating platforms with suppliers, third parties, marketplaces or distribution partners
- Experience managing complex end-to-end data flows and integrations between multiple systems
- Understanding of booking engines, packaging engines or travel distribution platforms would be highly relevant
- Experience with payment, billing, invoicing or accounting system integrations
- Strong experience coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders and external technology providers
- Experience taking complex integrations through testing, UAT and go-live
