We are looking for a IT Project Manager to join our team.
Role Summary
The main purpose of the role is to plan, execute & close projects successfully, overseeing all aspects of a project ensuring completion on time, within scope and budget. Business focus combined with strong Project Management skills are required together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to build and maintain effective and influential relationships with senior stakeholders whilst remaining focused on key IT deliverables and negotiating access to critical IT resources is essential.
As IT Project Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure they remain engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive collaboration across business and IT delivery teams to ensure project deliverables meet business needs and deliver value
- Project manage the implementation of system changes and enhancements working closely with key internal stakeholders and internal IT staff
- Identify all key IT resource requirements
- Proactively manage project risks & issues, escalating where necessary and taking corrective action as required
- Ensure projects are budgeted accurately and are reviewed and reported on according to financial timetables
- Ensure projects are managed within a controlled framework
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with Kaplan UK IT Services project management standards

What You’ll Bring To The Role
Through your prior experience in a similar Project Management roles you will have:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (or equivalent project management qualification)
- Experience of Agile software delivery
- Strong Project Management skills with an emphasis on IT Project implementation
- Established track record of project management and delivery
- Have a keen interest in education and associated emerging technologies
- Ability to work within project guidelines to tight timeframes and under pressure
- Ability to absorb and evaluate complex information quickly
- Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade the action of others
