Join our innovative Technology team at Boots and lead a transformative project that will shape the future of retail technology across the UK and Ireland!
Our Technology team are looking for a dynamic IT Project Manager to lead a large project as we transform our Retail technology and replace our long-established EPOS system. This initiative involves the delivery of several new solutions, one of which is a Stock Management system, to be used across all Boots stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
As an IT Project Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of this key project. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative team at the forefront of IT projects and impact the business, at scale.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate all aspects of the project to ensure successful delivery of customer and business objectives.
- Bring together project team members from across the business and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan.
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to evaluation.
- Adhere to project management frameworks and standards, ensuring good financial governance.
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and escalate issues as required.

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing large IT projects from start to finish.
- Strong ability to collaborate with team members across various departments and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a knack for building relationships and influencing outcomes.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Resilience in the face of challenges, with a supportive approach to team members.
- Highly motivated and committed to the success of the team.
- Understanding of project management frameworks and standards, including financial governance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues effectively.
