Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven IT Project Manager to join our Technology team in either Jersey or Guernsey. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Engineering, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a diverse portfolio of technology and business change projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a confident project leader who can bring clarity to complex business outcomes, work effectively in ambiguous environments, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will play a key role in driving collaboration across teams, leading governance forums and workshops, and ensuring successful project delivery from initiation through to operational handover.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy managing competing priorities, and have a passion for delivering meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology and business change projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables appropriate to project size and complexity.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Chair and facilitate project governance meetings, workshops, and committee discussions, ensuring productive engagement and clear decision-making.
  • Coordinate resources, manage workloads, and optimise team productivity across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and driving timely resolutions.
  • Support the development of business cases and monitor project budgets to ensure effective cost management and value delivery.
  • Manage project change requests, ensuring scope changes are appropriately assessed, controlled, and communicated.
  • Maintain end-to-end quality assurance across project documentation, deliverables, benefits realisation, and project governance.
  • Ensure operational readiness by supporting implementation planning, business change impact assessments, and transition into business-as-usual activities.
  • Deliver accurate and timely project reporting, ensuring compliance with established project management standards and governance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices across future initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
