Work Culture
- 37hr working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site-specific arrangements.

- Up to 5 paid days volunteering each year.

Role & Responsibilities
Join Raytheon UK’s Information Technology team as an IT Project Manager, leading the successful delivery of complex and business-critical technology projects. Working alongside a team of experienced project managers, you will manage projects from initiation through to completion, driving business transformation, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence. This role requires a proactive and collaborative professional who can work autonomously, manage stakeholders effectively, anticipate challenges, and deliver results within dynamic project environments. Ideal candidates will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of multiple IT projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, managing resources, schedules, risks, dependencies, and project governance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, proactively addressing risks, issues, and scope changes.
- Produce clear project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and governance standards while delivering measurable business value.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end IT projects, including planning, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong track record of leading technology projects through the full project lifecycle, from solution design and business case development through to operational handover.
- Experience managing complex IT initiatives using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches to project needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills.
- PRINCE2 and/or PMP certification, with experience in regulated or structured delivery environments being advantageous.
