Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end ISIT project coordination for the start-up and roll-out of a new sauce and liquid production facility in the UK.
The role will be responsible for ensuring that all required IT and IS components are effectively coordinated, delivered, tested, secured and ready before factory go-live. This includes close coordination with the ERP workstream, as well as responsibility for business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, shopfloor connectivity, manufacturing IT, testing, training, cutover and hypercare.
The IT Project Manager will act as the key coordination point between local site leadership, Group ISIT, the ERP Lead and ERP programme teams, infrastructure and operations teams, cybersecurity, application owners, engineering teams, external partners, and machine and equipment suppliers.
During the project, the position will be structured as follows:
- 80% of the role will be dedicated to the UK factory project, leading the overall ISIT project coordination.
- 20% of the role will remain dedicated to IT Applications project management activities for UK, working closely with the IS PMO Manager and the wider IT Applications team.

Following completion of the UK factory project, including the relevant go-live and hypercare activities, the position will transition to a 100% IT Applications Project Manager role for UK, fully integrated into the Application's team.
Role Purpose
The UK IT Project Manager will ensure the effective coordination and delivery of the overall ISIT scope required for the successful start-up of the new facility. The role will coordinate dependencies between the different ISIT workstreams and ensure alignment between the factory project, local business teams and Group ISIT.
For the ERP workstream, the IT Project Manager will work closely with the designated ERP Lead and programme teams to ensure that ERP-related milestones, dependencies and deliverables are properly integrated into the overall factory project plan.
Key Responsibilities
UK Factory Project, 80%
- Lead the overall ISIT project plan, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, budget requirements and resource needs.
- Translate business and factory requirements into clear ISIT deliverables and ensure alignment across operations, supply chain, finance, quality, engineering, HR, legal and other relevant workstreams.
- Work closely with the designated ERP Lead and ERP programme teams to integrate ERP milestones, dependencies, testing, training, cutover and hypercare activities into the overall factory project plan.
- Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies between ERP, business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, manufacturing IT and operational readiness.
- Identify and coordinate all business applications required outside the ERP environment, including ownership, configuration, licensing, interfaces, access rights, training and support models.
- Define and coordinate IT infrastructure requirements for the site, including network, Wi-Fi, cabling, firewalls, connectivity, PCs, printers, scanners, handheld devices, shopfloor terminals, label printers and other operational equipment.
- Coordinate manufacturing IT requirements related to production lines, machine connectivity, SCADA and OT environments, PLCs, production data capture, traceability, weighing, labelling, scanning and line-side terminals.
- Ensure cybersecurity requirements are embedded into infrastructure, applications and OT designs, in coordination with the relevant cybersecurity and technical owners.
- Build and coordinate the integrated ISIT testing, UAT, training, cutover, go-live readiness and hypercare plans, ensuring alignment with the ERP workstream.
- Ensure project issues are tracked, prioritised, escalated and resolved effectively before and after go-live.
- Provide clear and regular reporting to project sponsors and key stakeholders.

Required Experience
- Strong IT or IS project management experience, ideally gained within manufacturing, industrial or food production environments.
- Experience working on a factory start-up, major site deployment or complex operational roll-out.
- Broad understanding of ERP programmes, business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, manufacturing IT, shopfloor systems and SCADA or OT interfaces.
- Experience coordinating with ERP programme teams and integrating ERP dependencies into a broader business or factory deployment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or a comparable ERP environment would be an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively across business teams, IT, engineering, suppliers, external partners and senior stakeholders.
- Strong planning, communication, stakeholder management, risk management and escalation skills.
This is a hybrid position requiring a strong on-site presence, with a minimum of 3 days per week on site.
