About the Role
Aubay UK is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a global Financial Services organisation. The role is responsible for delivering technology, cloud, and data transformation initiatives across the full project lifecycle, from ideation through to transition and handover. The successful candidate will collaborate across product, architecture, delivery, and governance teams to ensure successful outcomes within complex enterprise environments.

Permanent or Contract (Inside IR35)
Location and Travel
Solihull, hybrid working with 3 days per week onsite. Occasional business travel may be required. Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK.
Required Skills and Experience
- Agile Project Management certification (Scrum, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent).
- Minimum 7 years experience delivering complex programmes and projects within Financial Services.
- Large-scale technology transformation, cloud migration, and data transformation experience.
- Experience in complex matrix organisations balancing project delivery and BAU operations.
- Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery knowledge.
- Data migration, data quality, and transformation programme experience.
- Third-party vendor and systems integration management experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise IT platforms and delivery tools.
- Budget and cost management expertise.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience operating within complex governance structures.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Motor Finance sector experience.
- Cloud architecture and migration strategy knowledge.
- Agile transformation delivery experience.
- Knowledge of financial services lending platforms.
- Change management certification or practical application.
Role Responsibilities
- Define and manage project scope, planning, and delivery.
- Ensure governance across risk, compliance, security, and operations.
- Manage RAID logs and RACI matrices.
- Lead stakeholders, suppliers, and delivery teams.
- Prepare executive reporting and steering committee updates.
- Manage budgets and project resources.
- Monitor progress and drive delivery against milestones.
- Oversee project lifecycle phases and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks and blockers.
- Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
