We’re currently working with a growing IT and Cyber Security provider with an established UK and international client base, who are looking to appoint an IT Project / Solutions Engineer to join their Solutions team in Swansea.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who is ready to move beyond traditional IT support and build a career across technical solutions, project delivery, and client management.

🔧 The Role
You’ll work closely with clients, technical teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors to deliver a varied portfolio of IT projects and solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing IT projects from requirements and planning through to implementation
- Working directly with clients to understand their technology requirements
- Helping scope and develop appropriate IT solutions
- Coordinating internal technical teams and external suppliers
- Creating project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery objectives
- Managing multiple projects and priorities
- Monitoring risks, issues, dependencies, and progress
- Acting as a key client contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinating hardware, software, infrastructure, networking, and cloud implementations
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology improvements
- Providing technical input and troubleshooting where required
- Working alongside technical specialists to ensure successful delivery
- Maintaining project documentation and providing regular updates
- Identifying opportunities to improve client environments
- Taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion

👤 About You
We're looking for someone who combines solid technical IT knowledge with strong communication and project coordination skills. You’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT Projects, Solutions, Infrastructure, or a similar role
- Experience working within larger or complex client environments
- MSP or client-facing IT experience would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure
- Hands-on knowledge across hardware, software, systems, and networking
- Experience with servers, storage, network devices, and Wi-Fi
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure
- Microsoft 365 and Azure experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Windows and Active Directory
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, and cloud technologies
- Experience coordinating technical teams, suppliers, or third parties
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
