Description

As IT Relocation Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate and oversee all IT-related activities associated with the relocation of William Reed's office operations, ensuring business continuity and minimising operational disruption throughout the relocation. You will work closely with technical teams, facilities, external contractors and business stakeholders to ensure the successful transition to the new office environment, and smooth closure of the existing premises.

This is a fixed-term part-time position (17.5 hours) to start ASAP until February/March 2027. We are open to working with the successful candidate on their working pattern. Some flexibility to increase hours may be needed in December and January.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the planning and coordination of all IT-related activities associated with the office relocation.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, ensuring activities, dependencies, milestones and critical paths are clearly defined and managed.
  • Coordinating internal teams, suppliers, contractors and third-party providers to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Working closely with the external project management company in relation to all activities.
  • Maintaining effective project governance through reporting, RAID management, progress tracking and stakeholder communication.
  • Providing regular project updates and clear non-technical reporting to senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Ensuring business continuity requirements are identified, planned and effectively managed throughout the relocation programme.
  • Coordinating cutover, rollback, contingency and recovery planning for business-critical technology services.
  • Managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery challenges, implementing mitigation actions and escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Facilitating business readiness, technical readiness and go-live approval processes to ensure a smooth and controlled transition into the new office environment.
  • Supporting the facilities team with relocation projects as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
