Job Purpose
At Kyowa Kirin International, we're looking for a talented Security Engineer to help enhance and defend our enterprise network, data centre, and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside infrastructure and security teams to reduce cyber risk, improve resilience, and respond to evolving threats.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimise security controls across network and cloud environments.
- Manage and improve firewall, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Identify security weaknesses and drive remediation activities.
- Support incident response and security investigations.
- Improve infrastructure logging, monitoring, and threat detection capabilities.
- Partner with global teams to strengthen security standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in Security Engineering, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, networking, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
- Experience securing enterprise infrastructure and virtualised environments.
- Understanding of cyber attack techniques and defensive controls.
- Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is desirable.
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
- A proactive problem-solver with a security-first mindset and strong collaboration skills.

Salary range: between GBP £33,971.00/Yr. and GBP £50,956.00/Yr.
