Summary

Support the delivery of effective IT services across the UK & ROI, helping colleagues resolve IT and OT issues while driving functional improvements and delivering a positive end user experience.

The Role

The UK & ROI IT Service & Support team is responsible for managing and improving the service and support provided to end users across the business.

This role combines strong IT and OT knowledge with a customer-focused approach. You will support end users with service requests and incidents while also helping deliver functional changes and business process improvements across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset, taking ownership of issues and looking for opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the overall user experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective IT and OT support to end users across the UK & ROI
  • Manage and resolve service requests and incidents, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally
  • Deliver functional changes and support business process improvements
  • Work closely with users and internal teams to understand requirements and identify effective solutions
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service and end user satisfaction
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across IT services and processes
  • Take ownership of issues and ensure effective communication through to resolution
  • Use IT service desk tools and processes to accurately record and manage requests and incidents
  • Work collaboratively with the wider IT team while also being confident working independently
  • Maintain a flexible approach to working hours to support business requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong customer service focus with a professional and helpful approach
  • Passion for IT, technology, and its practical application within a business
  • Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an inquisitive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset with a desire to find better ways of working
  • Accurate, methodical, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
  • IT literate with good conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with IT service desk tools and best practices would be advantageous
  • Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to support business needs beyond traditional 9 to 5 hours
  • Keen to learn, develop, and build a career within an IT function
