Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Operations Leadership. Service Excellence. Real Impact.
As Technical Service Delivery Manager, you will lead and continually improve the organisation’s IT service operations, ensuring a reliable, efficient and customer-focused service across the business.
You will provide leadership across Service Desk, Desktop Support, Microsoft application support, service performance, supplier management and continual improvement.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring IT services consistently meet agreed business expectations.

Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers, you will use data, KPIs and customer feedback to improve service quality, resolve issues and identify opportunities to make IT services more efficient and effective.

You will also take ownership of major incidents, service escalations and change management, ensuring that services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs, ITIL best practice and relevant regulatory and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Operational Management

  • Lead, coach, mentor and develop IT support teams across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line.
  • Hold regular 1-to-1s and manage individual and team performance.
  • Own and continually improve IT Service Management processes, including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Supplier Management.
  • Establish, monitor and manage SLAs to ensure services meet business expectations.
  • Use service desk data, MI and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Act as an escalation point for incidents and tickets approaching or exceeding SLA.
  • Take ownership of major incidents, including P1s, ensuring appropriate processes and communication are followed.
  • Lead change control across IT, working closely with project and product teams to ensure smooth transition of new or changed services into live support.
  • Ensure effective operational processes are in place for patching, endpoint management, antivirus and configuration management.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, self-service, proactive monitoring and greater operational efficiency.
  • Champion a customer-first culture across IT operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
