£26,677 per annum plus additional benefits. 37 hours per week. Office-based with occasional travel. Candidates need to live within a commutable distance to Dorchester, DT12PJ Fixed Term Role - Up to 12 Months. Closing date for applications: 12th August 2026 (Midday) Interviews will be held in person w/c 17th August at our Head Office in Dorchester.

The role & what you take care of
As a Magna IT Service Desk Administrator, you will provide administration support for the IT Team. Your role will include a variety of administration duties, including assisting the IT Service Desk team with service requests, managing user accounts and administering the asset register. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation, contribute to continuous service improvements, and uphold a reliable, secure, and user-friendly IT environment that enables teams to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.

- Respond to IT service desk requests, including calls and emails.
- Use our IT Service Desk ticketing system to monitor requests
- Order IT equipment, software and process purchase orders.
- Organise IT setups for starters, leavers, and changes, while maintaining the asset register accurately.

- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and great communication skills.
- Consistently provides outstanding customer service.
- Confident in using IT systems with basic knowledge of Windows and Office 365, alongside good numeracy and literacy skills.
