We are working with a large community healthcare organisation that provides essential digital services, ensuring seamless operations for clinical and corporate users. This temporary role offers an opportunity to contribute to a critical public sector function.

The Role

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, applications, and network incidents.
  • Log, classify, prioritise, and manage IT incidents and service requests efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely and aim for first-time fixes whenever possible.
  • Install and configure desktop software and administer user accounts in line with security policies.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents to specialist support teams when necessary.
  • Offer clear technical advice and guidance to users with diverse IT knowledge levels.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in an IT Service Desk, IT support, or a similar customer-focused technical support environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and troubleshoot a variety of IT incidents and service requests.
  • Strong customer service and effective telephone support skills.
  • Good technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ITIL knowledge being an advantage.
