Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Digital and Information Service Desk team providing first line support to approximately 10,000 computer users across the NHS Fife, including GPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Ability to identify PC and other Endpoint problems
- Sound, logical approach to problem solving
- Skills in prioritising and managing your own workload
How You Will Work
- Calls will come by telephone or online portal
- Expected to either fix first time or pass on accurate and complete information to second and third line teams
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a First Line support role would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft products
Work Environment
- NHS Fife allows for a hybrid working practice
- Based in Dunfermline, with considerable freedom to work from home or any other site with bookable desks

Requirements
- To become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment
- Legal requirement to demonstrate the relevant permission to work in the UK
Pre-employment Checks
- NHS Scotland Boards will check your entitlement to work in the UK
- Evidence can be provided through specific types of visa as well as EU settled and pre-settled status
