IT Service Desk Engineer
Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a highly respected and internationally recognised professional services firm in their search for an IT Service Desk Engineer to join their IT services team on a full time, permanent basis. Our client hosts a recently modernised office suite in the heart of Nottingham city centre.

This varied position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of IT operating systems and customer facing software applications, whilst acting as first point of contact for a plethora of high-profile clients.
The successful candidate will be contracted to shift working days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm (7.25 hours per day).

Skills & Experience
- Apprentice trained or NVQ Diploma in Information Technology or similar subject
- Previous experience working in a Microsoft ITIL environment
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and Intune
- Confident speaking with a wide range of corporate clients
- Capable of resolving technical problems efficiently and professionally
- Passionate about expanding knowledge of further IT systems and software applications
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for all initial IT incidents and enquiries
- Keep track of incoming tickets raised via the systems, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner
- Support end users with a range of tasks, including but not limited to password resets, 365 onboarding, account set ups and decommissioning
- Support the wider IT services team with the set up and configuration of new hardware and software systems
- Carry out all 1st fix diagnosis and troubleshooting on IT systems and hardware, escalating more complex issues to senior team members
- Adhere to daily/weekly SLA targets, whilst working on side projects to identify time saving initiatives
