IT Service Desk Engineer (Remote) – £32,000 + Training & Development

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an IT Service Desk Engineer to join their remote IT support team.
You'll provide 1st and 2nd line IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, support users remotely, and help maintain reliable IT services. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, Helpdesk Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, or experienced IT professional looking for a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote 1st and 2nd line IT support to users.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage IT support tickets and service requests.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows, laptops, and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Escalate complex technical issues where required.
- Maintain accurate IT support documentation.
- Deliver professional and responsive customer service.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in IT Service Desk, IT Support, Helpdesk, or Technical Support.
- Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar certification is advantageous.
