IT Service Desk Manager — Iconic Sporting Venue, West London, £55,000
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of 5 IT support engineers across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line functions
- Own the service desk operation end to end — ticket management, SLAs, quality, and team accountability
- Build a culture of ownership and responsiveness — clear expectations, fair management, consistent follow-through
- Work with Microsoft licensing, contracts, and IT policies across the organisation
- Be present and visible with the team — especially through the first 3–6 months while embedding
- Support 8 event days per year (time off in lieu provided) — major occasions at a world-famous venue

What We're Looking For
- Proven IT Service Desk Manager experience — you've genuinely managed a team, not just led one in title
- Track record of improving team performance and building accountability — this isn't a steady-state role
- End-user / in-house IT background preferred — you manage the team, not the client relationship
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft environments — licensing, contracts, and IT policy
- A people-first manager — motivating, direct, and consistent
- Comfortable being present in the office, particularly during the initial settling-in period

The Package
- £55,000 base salary
- Office-based in West London
- 8 event days per year — taken as days off in lieu
