Department: IT Ashore Service Delivery

Reporting To: Global IT Customer Support Lead

Location: London, UK

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent contract

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • IT support to top management / VIP users.
  • Comprehensive end-user and office IT equipment support.
  • Hardware equipment troubleshooting & Inventory Management.
  • User account management in Active Directory (Azure AD).
  • Windows 11 installation and other standard applications.
  • Mobile device management – iPhone & iPad.
  • Local IT Vendor Management.
  • Documentation of IT procedures & knowledgebase.
  • Adherence to SOX Audit, IT security and compliance standards.
  • Remote support to the Houston office.
  • Periodic onsite visits to the Houston office as required (minimum quarterly).

Additional Duties

As part of the Global IT Service Delivery team; provide IT support to other global offices during overlapping business hours, (e.g. US full day, Europe late afternoon / evening).


Experience

At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.


Competencies

  • Excellent customer service skills, with empathy and a user-focused approach to providing support.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, including user, object, and OU (Organizational Unit) creation, deletion, and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams, antivirus solutions, and Microsoft Intune.
  • General troubleshooting knowledge covering multifunction printers, desktops, laptops (Dell), and audio/video conferencing systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of ITSM and ITAM tools, such as ServiceNow or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Portal, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and Microsoft Intune Admin Center.
