Logistics done differently

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services to our clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. We support both in-house and externally provided solutions, working closely with our offshore support desk to ensure seamless service delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of transport and warehouse operations.

  • We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum.
  • In addition, you’ll receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional days.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • Manage and lead the IT service delivery team to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues and escalations.
  • Develop and implement service delivery strategies and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and other contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with other departments and our offshore support desk to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimise service delivery.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • ITIL V4 or other service management frameworks.
  • Proven experience in IT service delivery management, preferably in a similar role for at least 3 years.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT tools and software including Service Now and Power Apps.
