About The Role
M-Tec Engineering Solutions Limited is currently seeking a skilled IT Solutions Engineer to join its dynamic IT department. This pivotal role involves supporting, maintaining, developing, and continuously improving the company's business-critical systems, with a primary focus on the QAD 2014SE ERP platform. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including business users, customers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless system operations and optimal performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience working with ERP systems, particularly QAD 2014SE, is essential. Strong technical skills in system support, troubleshooting, and development are required, along with familiarity with database management and integration techniques. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also important. Certifications related to ERP systems or IT support will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the QAD 2014SE ERP platform, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionalities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in project planning and execution for system improvements and integrations.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization and effectiveness.
