We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Solutions Technician Apprentice to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Supported by experienced professionals, you will develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to provide high quality IT support, contribute to business operations, and build a strong foundation for a long term career in the technology sector.
Role Overview
The IT Solutions Technician Apprentice will support the design, implementation and maintenance of digital solutions that improve operational efficiency across Customer Service. The role will focus on but not limited to Microsoft technologies including Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate and emerging AI capabilities. The apprentice will help identify business problems, develop technical solutions and support projects that automate processes, improve reporting and enhance customer service operations.
How you will become part of the bigger picture...
As part of our team, you will:
- Support the development, testing and deployment of IT and automation solutions
- Assist with Power Automate workflows and integration between Microsoft applications
- Support Power BI reporting solutions and data connectivity
- Assist with SharePoint, Forms and Microsoft 365 solution development
- Participate in solution design, requirements gathering and documentation
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures and user guides
- Support testing activities and issue resolution
- Contribute to AI and digital innovation initiatives using Microsoft technologies
- Ensure solutions comply with governance, security and data protection requirements
- Deliver multiple Power Automate workflows that remove manual activities
- Support implementation of digital solutions used by operational teams
- Develop technical and user documentation for deployed solutions
- Contribute to reporting and dashboard improvements
- Complete an apprenticeship project demonstrating measurable business benefit
- Continuously grow and focus on personal development using the Panasonic Leadership Principles
What you will bring to the picture
- Secondary school education with relevant qualifications
- Grade 4 or above in GCSE Math’s and English
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong interest in technology, digital transformation and automation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical thinker with structured problem-solving capability
- Desire to learn about AI, cloud services and IT solution delivery

What does being an Apprentice mean?
You will undertake either the IT solutions technician qualification (Level 3) or AI and Automation Practitioner qualification (Level 4) Apprenticeship over 18 months, covering all aspects of IT. Your training will be a combination of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning via online classes. You will be released from the workplace to participate in the online classes.
You will be assigned a dedicated workplace mentor who will be there to support you throughout the programme offering guidance and making sure that all aspects of your learning follow the structured training plan.
This is an “earn and learn” programme and upon successful completion you will gain a recognised qualification and will be eligible to progress on to higher levels.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- Salary range: £19,000 - £23,000, depending on experience, existing relevant qualifications and level of apprenticeship
- Contract Type: 18 month - Fixed Term contract
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week full-time
- Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum
- Location: Bracknell, UK
- Hybrid working – during the induction period, you may be required to be in Bracknell every day
