IT Sourcing Manager

Location: Flexible to work from any hub including London
Duration: 6 months initially, with potential for long-term extension
Focus: IT Software Procurement, Sourcing, Commercial & Contractual Management

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to join a fast-paced and demanding technology procurement environment. This is a senior role requiring extensive experience in software sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contractual management, ideally gained within a major financial services organisation.

The successful candidate will manage a demanding portfolio of technology and software procurement activity, working to tight timescales and demonstrating a high level of initiative. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and executives, using your commercial, technical, and influencing skills to deliver effective sourcing strategies and outcomes.

A key area of focus will be supporting an Economic Crime Prevention portfolio, helping protect customers and large suppliers from fraud and other forms of economic crime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex IT and software sourcing and procurement activities across a demanding portfolio.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for software and cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Manage the full commercial and contractual lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation through to contract execution and ongoing supplier management.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations with major technology and software suppliers.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, including senior executives, to a high level.
