IT Sourcing Manager - Infrastructure

Banking - £682pd via umbrella - initial 6 months contract.

2 days in either Bristol or Birmingham, 3 days wfh.

Our banking client is looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across a portfolio of IT Infrastructure contracts. This is an excellent opportunity to influence sourcing strategy, negotiate complex agreements and build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities across IT Infrastructure categories.
  • Manage a portfolio of supplier contracts, negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that deliver value, manage risk and support business objectives.
  • Analyse spend, supplier performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance and risk management frameworks.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and mentor junior team members.

  • Proven experience in IT Procurement or IT Sourcing, ideally within Infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience managing strategic suppliers and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to develop sourcing strategies using data and market insights.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practice, governance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
