About The Role
IT Stores Technician (Level 2)
This full-time post is available immediately until 11/12/2026 on a fixed-term contract. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.

The starting salary will be from £28,029 on Grade C, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
The post holder will be part of a customer-focused team of technicians providing excellent IT support services to users to make the best use of the IT facilities at their disposal. This role will primarily be providing Stores support to the IT team at the University’s Exeter Campuses. Reporting to a Desktop Support Team Leader, you will have a central role in the coordination of the centralised store and stock management and you will work closely with other members of the team; and will support colleagues from other teams within the university.
The ideal candidate will have good IT skills and must have a high attention to detail. Just as important as IT skills is a positive attitude and excellent teamwork ethos. Candidates must be able to demonstrate attitude towards professional customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to be self-motivated and show initiative.
A full clean UK driving license is also required as moving stock around campuses by van is an essential part of the role.
