A well-established public sector organisation based in Leeds is seeking an experienced IT Contracts and Supplier Manager on a permanent basis to join its growing digital and technology function. This organisation is committed to delivering an outstanding experience for users through innovation, collaboration, and investment in technology services.
Your new role
Reporting into a senior technology leader, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT contracts and supplier agreements, ensuring maximum value, compliance, and service delivery across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing IT contracts from initiation through to renewal, variation, and termination
- Acting as the primary contact for suppliers and contract-related matters
- Monitoring supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments
- Working closely with procurement, legal, finance, and technology teams
- Maintaining contract records and governance documentation
- Providing commercial and contractual advice to support projects and procurement activities
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and service improvement
- Leading supplier review meetings and relationship management activities
- Producing performance and risk reports for senior stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing IT supplier contracts and commercial relationships
- Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience monitoring supplier performance and managing contractual risk
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and data protection requirements
- Ability to work effectively with technical, procurement, finance, and legal teams
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience within IT contract management, the public sector, or higher education would be highly advantageous.
