IT Supplier Manager
Location: Reading
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: Up to £88 per hour, Inside IR35 (DOE)
Clearance: Active SC or DV required
We are seeking an experienced IT Supplier Manager to join our team on an initial 6-month contract in Reading. You will support the definition and delivery of the IT supplier strategy and management framework, working closely with Digital Information leadership, business stakeholders, and external suppliers. The role covers the full supplier lifecycle, including supplier selection, procurement, contract negotiation, performance management, and offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute the IT supplier strategy in line with technology and Value Stream roadmaps.
- Manage key relationships between internal stakeholders and IT suppliers.
- Support tender processes, commercial negotiations, and contract renewals.
- Manage day-to-day supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Identify and resolve supplier service gaps, risks, compliance issues, and performance concerns.
- Lead and participate in supplier performance reviews, CABs, and IT operations meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost effectiveness, and service quality.

Key Experience
- 3+ years' experience in IT supplier management, covering supplier selection, contracting, performance management, and offboarding.
- Experience developing and executing IT supplier strategies, ideally within a regulated environment such as Aerospace & Defence.
- Strong commercial and contract negotiation experience, preferably internationally.
- Good understanding of IT compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the IT supplier landscape, including System Integrators (SIs).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
