Are you an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer looking for a role that combines cutting-edge technology with the fast-paced world of motorsport?
We're looking for a technically strong and customer-focused IT professional to join a specialist Trackside IT team, providing mission-critical support to race operations and testing environments. This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies, support high-profile stakeholders, and play a key role in ensuring IT services perform flawlessly in demanding, time-sensitive environments.
The Role
As a Trackside Support Engineer, you'll provide expert operational support across a diverse technology estate while acting as a senior technical escalation point for complex incidents and projects.
Working within a small, highly skilled team, you'll deliver exceptional support both on-site and remotely, ensuring business-critical systems remain available throughout testing and race events. You'll also contribute to continual service improvement, technical projects, and mentoring colleagues where required.
This role includes participation in an out-of-hours support rota, including 24/7 remote support during Formula 1 and Formula E race seasons.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
