About The Role
We are seeking motivated individuals to participate in our IT Support/IT Technician Programme, a comprehensive, self-funded training initiative designed to prepare candidates for entry-level roles in IT support and technical services. This role involves engaging in intensive online instructor-led training, acquiring industry-recognized certifications, and completing practical projects that simulate real-world scenarios. Participants will benefit from personalized mentorship, CV and interview coaching, and access to a broad network of potential employers. Qualifications
Our programme is tailored for individuals with little or no prior experience in IT. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving. Candidates may include recent school, college, or university leavers, career changers, those currently working in other industries, or individuals leaving the Armed Forces. Responsibilities
Participants in the IT Support/IT Technician Programme will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at developing their technical expertise and industry readiness. These include:
- Actively participating in live instructor-led online training sessions
- Completing coursework
- Passing industry-recognized certification exams such as CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Working on practical projects that simulate real-world IT support scenarios, enhancing their problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Engaging in CV writing workshops
- Participating in interview preparation sessions
- Receiving ongoing career coaching to prepare for employment
- Leveraging the employer network and recruitment partners provided by Newto Training to secure suitable job placements upon successful course completion
