Onsite IT Support Professional
Insight Global are seeking an Onsite IT Support professional for a global leader within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
This position requires 5 days onsite in Oxford, England for a long-term contract starting at 12-months and is classified as Inside IR35.
As part of the Local Onsite IT Support team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality IT support services to site users, ensuring day-to-day IT operations run smoothly while supporting infrastructure, hardware, software, and end-user needs. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, service providers, and IT teams to resolve issues, support onboarding activities, and contribute to ongoing IT projects and operational improvements.
Must-Have Requirements Include:
- Experience providing onsite IT support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
- Strong hardware support experience with Apple devices, particularly iPhones and iPads
- Experience with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment provisioning, account access, and badge management
- Experience supporting end users within a medium to large office environment
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management and ticketing platforms
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and self-sufficient approach to problem-solving and customer support
- Experience supporting printers, networks, PC imaging, and general workplace technology

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite IT support services and local infrastructure support
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels
- Escalate and coordinate complex issues with incident managers and third-party providers
- Partner with business stakeholders on IT-related initiatives and support requirements
- Deliver user training and onboarding support
- Manage IT equipment, meeting room technology, and audio-visual solutions
- Support IT projects and operational improvements as required
- Travel to remote sites when necessary to provide IT support
- Work within an Agile environment using Kanban methodologies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Plusses Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience working within Agile environments using Kanban
- ITIL Foundation and/or KCS certification
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Mac and MacBook devices
