IT Support Administrator
Location: Melksham, on site
Salary: £28,000–£32,000
We’re looking for a Group IT Support Administrator who enjoys solving technical problems and helping people get the most from their technology. You’ll join the businesses Group IT team, supporting colleagues and clients while keeping the service desk organised and systems running smoothly.
What you’ll do
- Manage the service desk queue, keep tickets accurate and up to date, monitor service levels, and lead weekly ticket review meetings.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, providing clear support and guidance to users.
- Help carry out system updates, backups and preventive maintenance.
- Support IT security measures and contribute to upgrades, migrations and installations.
- Work with third-party vendors to resolve issues and implement new systems.

What you’ll bring
- 2+ years’ experience in IT support or a similar role, including experience in a service desk environment.
- You’ll be confident supporting Windows desktop and server systems, and able to administer Microsoft 365 services such as Entra ID, Exchange Online and the Microsoft 365 admin centre, alongside on-premises Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with virtualisation such as Hyper-V, and familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure are desirable.
- Relevant certification is desirable; CompTIA A+, Microsoft Windows Fundamentals, etc.
