About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our expanding IT team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and problem-solving to contribute significantly to our company's operational efficiency. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support and software development, with relevant experience and a passion for technology. Essential qualifications include:
- A good understanding of Microsoft technologies
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience with networking, virtualization, database management, and programming languages such as C# and.NET
- Certification in Microsoft or other relevant IT disciplines
Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day IT support to users across the organization, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and effectively.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining PCs, laptops, software applications, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, Active Directory, and server environments to maintain a seamless IT infrastructure.
- Setting up new users, devices, and system access to facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
- Maintaining and supporting servers, infrastructure components, and business-critical systems to ensure high availability and security.
- Producing clear and comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures to aid in knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Identifying opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and security through proactive assessments and recommendations.
- Assisting with research, design, and implementation of new IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Developing and enhancing internal software applications using C# and .NET frameworks to streamline business operations.
- Writing SQL queries, reports, and data extracts with a high level of accuracy to support data-driven decision-making.
- Working within the IT ticketing system to prioritize and resolve support requests in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and environmental policies at all times.
