IT Support Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Analyst to join a growing technology team in the United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in IT support and technical services. You will provide first-line technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Create, update, and manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT engineers when required.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and support activities accurately.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and password resets.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees by preparing IT equipment and user accounts.
  • Maintain IT asset records and ensure devices are up to date.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while meeting service-level expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of IT support or help desk experience (graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using IT ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Intune, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
  • CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not required.
