About the role:
As an IT Support Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of modern technologies, alongside experienced IT professionals who will support your development throughout your apprenticeship journey. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build a long-term career in IT, with exposure to cloud technologies, networking, hardware, software, customer support, and on-site technical work.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing first-line IT support to customers via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and helping customers resolve technical problems
- Assisting with the setup, installation, and configuration of new devices and IT systems
- Supporting Microsoft 365 environments, user accounts, and cloud-based services
- Working with Windows PCs, Apple Macs, servers, and networking equipment
- Visiting customer sites alongside experienced engineers to provide hands-on support
- Building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent service
- Gaining experience across a variety of industries and business environments

What we're looking for:
- Strong interest in IT and technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and professional approach
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good problem-solving ability
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
The following experience would be beneficial:
- Previous experience building, troubleshooting, or maintaining computers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows or Microsoft 365
- Awareness of networking concepts
- Customer service experience (work, volunteering, or education)
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
