Job Experience and Skills
Years of Experience:
- 5 - 7 years of related experience in a Senior IT support role.
Technical Knowledge:
- Windows Client and Server: Supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10, Windows 11, and server operating systems including Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022+.
- Networking: Familiarity and understanding with DNS, DHCP & Active Directory.
- Network Protocols: Understanding of VLAN, QOS, WAN & LAN.
- Network Hardware: Understanding of Routers, Switches, SFPs, Fibre & Copper Cabling, etc.
- Microsoft Products: Understanding of Office, O365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint.

- Installation and Support: Racking, cabling, and support of hardware including Networking equipment, servers/workstations, desktops, games consoles, phones, etc.
- Deployment: Deployment of custom OS images and additional software using Microsoft deployment products such as WDS, MDT, SCCM, and WSUS.
- Asset Management: Asset Tracking & Maintaining Inventory.
Virtual Environments:
- Experience in virtual environments preferably with Hyper-V and VMware.
Customer Service and Maintenance:
- Provide customer service and specific AV assistance including AV troubleshooting and operational assistance.
- Provide in-depth Break/Fix AV maintenance.
- Assist in maintenance and repair of AV equipment through third-party vendor relationships.
- Maintain neat appearance of AV cables and equipment.

Monitoring and Documentation:
- Monitoring the health and performance of all Windows infrastructure to ensure service availability and security patching compliance.
- Create and maintain documentation of environment processes and procedures.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated & takes direction well to learn & grow.
- A great team player.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Good written & oral communication skills.
