Role Description

The IT Support Dispatch role is a part-time, on-site position based in Swansea. This role is responsible for receiving and logging support requests, assigning tickets to appropriate engineers, and coordinating on-site visits and remote support sessions. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring ticket queues, prioritizing incidents, updating clients on job status, and ensuring accurate documentation of all activities. The IT Support Dispatch team member will collaborate with technicians and management to optimize scheduling, maintain service-level agreements, and support efficient communication between clients and technical staff.

  • Ability to work with ticketing or helpdesk systems, including logging, prioritizing, and dispatching IT support requests.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple support tasks and engineer schedules.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of IT support environments, including common hardware, software, and network terminology.
  • Attention to detail in documenting incidents, updating job status, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Capacity to remain calm and solution-focused in fast-paced or high-volume support situations.
  • Prior experience in IT support coordination, dispatching, customer service, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Comfort working on-site in Swansea and collaborating with a global, technology-focused team.
