Overview

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a growing technology team, providing high-quality support across the business. This role will be responsible for supporting end users, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and a broad background in IT support, with excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users across hardware, software, and business applications.
  • Manage and support the Microsoft 365 environment, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and user administration.
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral issues.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account creation and access management.
  • Assist with device builds, deployments, and software installations.
  • Manage tickets through to resolution, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Escalate complex issues where required and work with third-party suppliers.
  • Maintain IT documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, or Desktop Support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Active Directory/Azure AD environments.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience using ITSM or ticketing tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach with a strong customer-service mindset.
