Company Introduction

Argo DevOps Solutions is a small but established UK-based technology company working in Cyber and Cloud space. We are experts in delivering value into both the public and private sector, supporting delivery of quality products at speed. We solve complicated software and hardware problems using Agile approaches. Our specialisms include moving data between trust boundaries, designing secure data ingress and egress systems. Argo has substantial experience in mentoring our customers through their Agile journey.

Experience Requirements

We expect you to have demonstrated experience in at least some of the following technologies and practices:

  • A strong background in IT with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Intune, Powershell, Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to problem solving.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Professional, mentally resilient and calm under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, prioritise and help resolve 1st and 2nd line support calls from staff.
  • Management of company assets – including onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Assist with complex problems and escalate to senior staff where necessary.
  • Perform regular checks, such as backups, status checks and other proactive or reactive tasks.
  • Involvement in projects, reporting progress and technical updates.
  • Develop skills and technical proficiency guided by IT Support Manager and senior staff.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best-practice standards to less experienced engineers.
  • Coach team members in areas such as IT Operations, secure configuration control techniques, and effective problem-solving.
  • Provide support to the IT Support Manager and act as a deputy when required.
  • Work in accordance with agile methodologies and actively participate in daily Scrum meetings.
  • Ensure all documentation and ticketing are completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
