Company Description
Depop is a peer-to-peer circular fashion marketplace where anyone can buy, sell and discover secondhand fashion. Our mission is simple: to make fashion circular by making secondhand as exciting and rewarding as buying new.
Founded in 2011, Depop’s diverse community has helped move resale into the mainstream, where buying secondhand is no longer an alternative, but how people of different ages now engage with fashion. Today, more than 56 million registered users come to Depop to find great value, express their own personal style and give clothes a longer life. We believe that everything you want already exists, and our role is to help people discover it.
Powered by a team of over 500 people, our company is headquartered in London, with offices in New York. In 2021, Depop became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Etsy - the global marketplace for unique and creative goods - and continues to operate as a standalone company. We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, no matter who they are or where they’re from. Just as our platform connects people globally, we believe our workplace should reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We thrive on the power of different perspectives and experiences, knowing they drive innovation and bring us closer to our users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the Role
We're looking for an IT Support Engineer to join Depop's IT team. This is a fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months, helping Depop through its integration with eBay.
In this role, you'll help employees through a period of change as Depop moves onto new devices, accounts and tools. You'll be a friendly, hands-on point of contact for colleagues across the business, making sure everyone can get set up, stay productive and feel confident with what's changing. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, loves helping people and stays calm when things move quickly. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience of a large-scale IT integration.
You'll work closely with the Depop IT team and eBay's IT teams, as well as people from every part of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work with the IT team across a range of hardware, platform and workspace migrations, answering employee questions and guiding people through each change.
- Help deliver a company-wide hardware refresh, coordinating setup sessions to get employees onto their new devices and accounts.
- Guide remote employees through setup and onboarding, and provide ongoing support after handover.
- Handle onsite and remote support queries with a high standard of customer service, including questions and issues with new devices and tools.
- Take ownership of issues through to resolution, and flag recurring problems or improvements to the team.
- Analyse common issues and keep documentation up to date as processes and tools change.
- Assist with AV, video conferencing and hardware setup and maintenance as needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Hands-on experience in an IT support or service desk role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS and Apple hardware.
- Experience with identity and collaboration tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- A customer-focused approach and patience when helping people through change.
- Ability to manage your own workload while working collaboratively across teams.
- Able to hit the ground running and deliver impact within a fixed-term engagement.
