IT Support Engineer
Location: Stansted or Manchester
Salary: Competitive
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday
Line Up Aviation is recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing aviation organisation in a varied, hands-on role supporting business-critical systems across multiple UK locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working across a broad range of technologies and taking ownership of technical issues from first-line support through to server administration, cloud services, automation and project work.
You will join a small, dedicated IT team where your contribution will be visible, valued and central to keeping the wider business running effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first, second and third-line IT support to users across multiple UK sites.
- Manage and maintain Windows desktop and Windows Server environments.
- Support and administer Azure services, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
- Manage web servers, including IIS or similar platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows and other automated processes.
- Assist with system migrations, upgrades and deployment projects.
- Help streamline business processes through workflow automation.
- Participate in an on-call rota supporting business-critical IT services.
- Work closely with colleagues across IT, operations and the wider business.
- Travel occasionally to other UK sites when required.

Experience and Skills Required
- Proven experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune and modern cloud services.
- Experience with web server management, including IIS or a similar platform.
- Familiarity with Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to support colleagues at all levels.
- A flexible, proactive and team-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in an on-call rota.
Desirable Certifications
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge of IT service management.

Additional Information
Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
As the role may involve visits to airport airside environments, the successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check and meet the necessary airside pass requirements.
