Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer support?

At Arvato, we’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our IT team at our Corby site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining our IT infrastructure while providing first-class support to colleagues across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for IT support via our ITSM system.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user account issues.
  • Building and deploying laptops and desktops using Modern Workplace technologies.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Managing Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and Group Policy.
  • Supporting Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Performing server maintenance, backups, and ensuring system security.
  • Maintaining IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Working closely with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve IT processes and the end-user experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support, or Systems Administrator role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Modern Workplace technologies.
  • Good understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Experience supporting PCs, servers, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
