The Role

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality onsite and remote IT support across Affidea clinics in London and remotely across the UK. The role will support day-to-day operational stability, clinical service continuity and user productivity across established clinics, new site openings, acquisitions and transition projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second line IT support, in person and remotely, to clinical and non-clinical teams across London clinics
  • Get hands-on with new clinic openings, helping set up devices, onboard users, and get every site ready for go-live
  • Support day-to-day tech for clinic teams, from PCs and Microsoft 365 to printers, phones and local networking
  • Be the local point of contact for IT issues, helping prioritise anything that could affect patient care or clinic operations
  • Work alongside the wider IT team on projects, system rollouts and service improvements, building your experience as you go
  • Help support acquired sites as they transition into Affidea's systems, from user access to device setup
  • Keep clear, accurate records of your work and manage your tickets in line with agreed response times

Requirements

  • Experience in a desktop support or IT support environment (or equivalent gained through study, placements or projects)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Azure AD/Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive administration
  • An understanding of Active Directory, server virtualisation, storage management and data security
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Location

You will be based in London, working across our Wimbledon Clinic and surrounding areas.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 Hours a week

Salary

  • £35,000
