IT Systems Network Support Engineer
Our Client is a Bank based in Central London, are looking to recruit an IT Systems Support Engineer ideally with at least 2 years of experience in IT within the financial industry and overall 5 years of experience in IT.
You will be working in a small team managing the day-to-day technology infrastructure to ensure that the Bank can operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of IT Infrastructure: Provide first line support of software, hardware, and networking that includes installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Project Management: Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Design, plan, and deploy IT projects to enhance the existing IT infrastructure and any applications required by the bank.
- End User Computing Support: Provide support for all staff.
- Security Coordination: Coordinate between the London Users and Group IT Security on all requests for systems access, ensuring permissions are provided promptly, regularly updated, and the Group Access Matrix Protocol is followed at all times.
- Disaster Recovery and Backup: Implement Disaster Recovery and backup procedures, ensuring standards comply with Group requirements.
- IT Support for Compliance: Provide IT support to ensure the smooth running of daily and periodic reports for the London Compliance team, ensuring adherence to Anti Money Laundering Provisions.
- Data Extraction: Undertake Data Extraction for reporting requirements for all stakeholders at the bank.
- CCTV, Telephony, and Door Access Systems: Monitor and ensure the maintenance of CCTV, telephony systems, and door access systems, applying relevant maintenance procedures.
- Network Equipment Monitoring: Monitor overall networking equipment (i.e., Network Switches, Firewalls, and other appliances) and provide support.
- Maintenance Checks: Plan and carry out maintenance checks to ensure IT Operations and infrastructures are running smoothly and ensure daily routine task completeness.
- Business Continuity Planning: Maintain and ensure that the BCP site is always ready for continuous bank operations.
- Branch PABX System: Maintain the branch PABX system and ensure the recording system is always up and running at all times.

- Salary: £40K - £50K
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid role – 3 days in the office
- Location: Central London
