About the Role ⭐

At DISConsulting IT, we're looking for a proactive and customer-focused engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity to work closely with a wide range of businesses, solving real-world IT challenges, delivering on-site support, and getting involved in exciting project work.

As a growing MSP, we believe in giving our engineers responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to develop their skills across modern IT, cloud, networking, cyber security, and communications technologies. If you enjoy variety, building relationships with customers, and making a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.

We’re a small but ambitious MSP, and this role is a key part of our expansion.

This role suits someone who:

  • Has experience working within an MSP environment
  • Enjoys being out on site, not just behind a desk
  • Likes building relationships with clients
  • Thrives in a varied role where every day is different
  • Has a team player mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Is proactive, organised, and enjoys learning new technologies
  • Wants to progress their career within a growing business

What You’ll Do ⚡

  • Handle 1st /2nd line support requests
  • Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune/MDM)
  • Support and administer Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (ADDS, DHCP, DNS, VPN)
  • Visit customer sites for installs, break/fix work, and networking refreshes (servers, Wi-Fi, cabling, PCs, full-stack hardware)
  • Build and configure hardware in the office accurately and efficiently
  • Get involved in project work: Microsoft Cloud migrations, Intune rollouts, hosted Azure VMs, cloud PBX deployments, full Wi-Fi replacements
  • Develop and share practical knowledge articles and technical workarounds, empowering the Service Desk team to resolve issues more efficiently
  • Ensure all support activities are carried out in line with company policies, security requirements, and relevant data protection and compliance standards
  • Build confidence with customers through proactive, professional communication and regular updates throughout the support journey

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
