IT Support Technician

Lisburn | £30,000-£35,000 | Pension and Private Healthcare

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT support professional who wants more than a conventional service desk position. You will provide 1st and 2nd Line support across office, operational and site-based environments while working closely with the IT Manager on infrastructure, security, and digital-improvement projects.

The position is fully on-site in Lisburn and offers a 1:30pm finish every Friday.

The Role

As the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support, you will:

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printing, mobile-device, and network-connectivity issues.
  • Support Windows PCs, laptops, printers, and other business technology.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, password resets, and MFA.
  • Assist with onboarding and leaver processes.
  • Support Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Install software, manage access requests, and assist with licensing and updates.
  • Log, prioritise, and document incidents, escalating more complex issues when required.
  • Assist with backups, endpoint protection, patching, and routine system checks.
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and user guidance.
  • Support technology rollouts, supplier coordination, and continuous-improvement projects.
  • Help the business make better use of Microsoft tools and digital workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
