We're now looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team in Kingswinford and play a key role in supporting our business technology and end users.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, onsite support role where you'll be the face of IT for our local teams. You'll provide high-quality technical support, resolve day-to-day IT issues, and help ensure the smooth operation of our workplace technology environment.

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with outstanding customer service skills. You'll enjoy helping people, solving problems, and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business and the wider global IT function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering exceptional onsite IT support to employees across the business.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, application and connectivity issues.
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing IT equipment and systems.
  • Setting up and managing computers, devices, peripherals and user accounts.
  • Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
  • Managing incidents escalated by the Service Desk that require onsite intervention or advanced troubleshooting.
  • Performing basic network troubleshooting across LAN, Wi-Fi, connectivity and structured cabling.
  • Working closely with infrastructure, networking, security and application teams to resolve issues and support projects.
  • Assisting with technology rollouts, migrations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate asset records and support documentation within the ticketing system.
  • Acting as a deputy for the ICT Coordinator when required.
  • Supporting occasional out-of-hours activities for critical incidents, maintenance or project work.
  • Travelling occasionally to support operational and project requirements.

  • Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support, Service Desk or similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows operating systems
    • Microsoft 365
    • Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Cloud-based IT environments
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles, access management and asset management.
  • Experience using ticketing or IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • A proactive, approachable and customer-focused attitude.
