What You’ll Do

The IT Support Engineer – UK will be responsible for handling IT support and logistics for the UK office and the broader EMEA region. Based in London, this role will provide critical on-site support for IT issues, work on troubleshooting tickets, and manage IT-related logistics such as hardware shipments for new hires and terminations. The successful candidate will also conduct IT onboarding and orientations for new employees and work closely with the IT Manager to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

This role will be instrumental in improving the focus of the Senior IT Manager, who currently handles many of these responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support in the London office, resolving tickets and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Support the EMEA region by assisting with remote IT requests and offering additional support when needed.
  • Manage AV equipment and conference rooms in the London office, ensuring smooth operations for meetings and events.
  • Handle the installation of local office equipment, including workstations, network equipment, and peripherals.
  • Conduct IT onboarding and orientations for new hires across the UK and EMEA regions, ensuring a smooth start for employees.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving logistics for IT equipment, especially during onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to continuously improve processes and implement automation where applicable.
  • Assist in managing relationships with third-party vendors, particularly for equipment and services.
  • Support broader IT initiatives and projects within the organization as directed by the Sr IT Manager.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role, ideally in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting both macOS and Windows OS.
  • Experience managing AV equipment and conference room setups.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and ITSM platforms.
  • Prior experience using MDMs such as Jamf and Workspace 1 for fleet management.
  • Prior experience using Okta.
  • Knowledge or prior experience about office networking, (ideally with Meraki).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to other offices as needed.
  • Occasional travel to other EMEA offices as required to support IT operations.
  • Align to company in-office schedule (currently 3 days in office, 2 days remote).

This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
