The Opportunity
You'll be the first point of contact for IT at our warehouse locations, as well as supporting wider company staff beyond the pharmacy and warehouse environment — keeping devices, printers, scanners, and people working.
It's a hands-on, on-site role suited to someone early in their IT career who wants to learn fast in a busy operational environment, with real ownership from day one and a clear path to grow. Because the warehouse dispatches on weekends, this role includes a mandatory weekend rota — weekend cover is the core reason the role exists, so it's a firm requirement rather than an occasional extra.
What You'll Do
- First-Line On-Site Support: Act as the main contact for warehouse and office staff logging, triaging, and resolving day-to-day IT issues, and escalating complex matters to the wider Group IT team.
- Device Management: Set up, configure, and enroll laptops and workstations, managing devices through our MDM solutions.
- Hardware & Operations: Support warehouse-specific hardware, including handheld scanners, barcode readers, label and thermal printers, and packing-station equipment to keep dispatch running smoothly.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve everyday connectivity, peripheral, and printing issues across the site.
- Identity & Access Management: Handle user account administration in Google Workspace (creating, suspending, and troubleshooting accounts and groups).
- Lifecycle & Onboarding: Own starter and leaver IT setups on-site, preparing devices and accounts for new joiners and securely recovering equipment from leavers.
- Asset & Stock Control: Maintain accurate records for IT asset management and manage consumable stock levels (devices, peripherals, printing labels).
- Weekend Operational Cover: Provide responsive IT cover during weekend dispatch operations, prioritizing any issues that would otherwise block fulfilment.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere strictly to security and compliance practices in a regulated, and security focused environment handling sensitive data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
