Our client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide responsive technical support across its Windows and Mac estate.

You will resolve day-to-day issues, manage access and devices, and deliver a reliable experience for office-based and remote employees.

This role is focused on maintaining service levels and keeping workplace technology running effectively.
Responsibilities
- Own incoming incidents and requests across the ticketing system, walk-up desk, Slack and desk-side support.
- Monitor ticket queues, service levels and system alerts, prioritising work and escalating risks before they affect users.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows, macOS, application, connectivity and hardware issues.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in line with agreed access processes and security controls.
- Deliver the technical elements of onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, laptop preparation and device recovery.
- Coordinate laptop shipping, receiving and equipment logistics for remote employees.
- Maintain accurate asset records, including device tagging, stock control, loan equipment and delivery tracking.
- Configure and troubleshoot video-conferencing and office audio-visual equipment.
- Create and update technical procedures, user guidance and internal support documentation.
- Collaborate with senior IT colleagues on complex incidents, recurring problems and service improvements.
