IT Support Lead & Infrastructure Engineer - London | Financial Services
£65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits | Hybrid
A leading financial services organisation is looking for an experienced IT Support Lead & Infrastructure Engineer to join its London technology team.
This is a hands-on IT Support Lead & Infrastructure Engineer role combining senior technical support, infrastructure engineering, and team leadership.
You’ll lead day-to-day ITIL focused IT support, act as a senior escalation point, and contribute to infrastructure and technology projects across a global environment.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and prioritise day-to-day IT support operations.
- Provide senior-level escalation and complex troubleshooting.
- Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Manage Windows, networking, AV, and meeting room technologies.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements and technology projects.
- Manage third-party IT providers and monitor service performance.
- Drive service improvement, knowledge sharing, and IT asset governance.
- Support security, compliance, and data protection requirements.

What we're looking for
- Solid ITIL Awareness - Ideally ITIL Certified
- 7+ years' experience across IT Support / End User Services.
- Previous experience in a senior support, team lead, or escalation role.
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Solid Azure and Entra ID knowledge.
- Good understanding of Windows Server and networking.
- Experience supporting collaboration and conferencing technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Desirable:
- Financial services experience
- PowerShell
- Terraform
- ITIL Foundation or relevant Microsoft/security/networking certifications
